Alana and Ryan tied the knot at the picturesque Sokol Blosser Winery. Featuring the famous vintages of the working winery, the wedding was a celebration of fun, festivity, and family.
The wedding embodied the couple’s unique personalities with quirky touches: the bridal bouquet featured black calla lilies and fiddlehead ferns instead of the standard bunch of flowers; bride and groom wore running sneakers in coordinating colors for the ceremony; instead of a wedding cake they served towers of artisan donuts from Blue Star Donuts
to their guests; the dessert table featured jars of mass-produced candies with industrial scoops; and the couple’s ring set in rose gold broke the mold of the standard platinum-and-diamond set.
The decor at the reception in the Tasting Room was comprised of rustic chalkboard signs and wooden crates, whitewashed metal lanterns and jars of yellow wildflowers.
The wildflower theme was echoed in the dinnerware floral design and succulent planters dotting the reception tables.
Breaking with the wedding cake tradition, the couple served a fun and colorful dessert buffet table for their guests, stacked high with trendy Blue Star donut towers and old-school candy.
Glasses of wine in hand set against the backdrop of lush green arbors and the setting sun, Alana and Ryan tied the knot in a memorable and lovely event.
