Earlier this week we shared a post filled with Romantic Valentine’s Day Inspiration and are now back with more gorgeous images from the styled shoot with Maria Lamb Photography. Enjoy the Valentine’s Day food inspiration along with a gorgeous tablescape topped with vintage rentals from Something Borrowed Portland Vintage Rentals, floral elements from Selva Floral Design and custom paper goods created by Jenny Sanders from Graceline.
Valentine’s Day Food Inspiration
The inspiration behind our photo shoot was to give a nod to Valentines Day but not too whimsical or kitschy. When you think of Valentines, you immediately think chocolates and roses but we wanted to take it a step farther by incorporating an oyster bar by Fosters Craft Cooking and a delicate signature drink compliments of Mint and Mirth (see the recipe below!).
An Evening In Cocktail Recipe from Mint and Mirth
- 2 oz. Selvarey Cacao
- 1 oz. Stumptown old brew coffee
- 1 oz. coconut milk
- 1/2 oz. ginger root simple syrup
- Combine all ingredients in a shaker over ice.
- Shake and strain.
- Top with a sprinkle of cayenne.
