Something Borrowed Portland is hiring a part-time, entry-level warehouse/customer service assistant. We pride ourselves on three main things: excellent product, keen attention to detail and absolutely the best customer service throughout the entire client experience. We are looking for someone to join our team who sees themselves as having a creative eye for style, is meticulously organized, and can bring a warm, welcoming and unique personality to our customer focused company.

General Position Summary:

  • Warehouse/Customer Service Assistant
  • Part-time (10-20 hours/wk) with an increase in hours June – September
  • Pay: $10/hour

Required Qualifications:

  • Be highly detail-oriented and very organized
  • Be a people pleaser and go above and beyond to provide a great customer experience
  • Be self-motivated, independent and reliable, taking pride in the work that you do
  • Be interested in the wedding/events world and get excited about creative ideas
  • Have a passion for vintage goods
  • Physically able to lift 50+ pounds
  • Thrive in a fast-paced work environment
  • Be a quick learner, able to think on your feet and problem solve
  • Have great written and oral communication skills
  • Enjoy wearing multiple hats (often in the same day)!
  • Have a positive attitude + are very personable
  • Enjoy problem solving + can handle difficult situations with poise

Essential Job Tasks:

  • Keep warehouse + office clean, organized and client-ready at all times
  • Pull, prep and pack orders
  • Clean and maintain inventory at the warehouse (which includes regular dish washing by hand)
  • Assist customers with will-call orders
  • Run errands/small order deliveries
  • Other duties as assigned
