Vendor Spotlight: Bridal Bliss Event Planning

by Lane' Bigsby on Tuesday, April 14, 2015

in Vendor Spotlight

We have had the pleasure and honor of working alongside many talented wedding professionals in and around the Portland area. Bridal Bliss is no exception, and we’re excited to bring you a little inside scoop on this dynamic Portland wedding planning team!

Bridal Bliss on the web and Bridal Bliss on Facebook

What is a typical day for you?

No day is typical for me! Some are spent in front of a computer screen fine tuning timelines and answering client questions. Others are spent touring venues, attending tastings or meeting with clients and wedding professionals. On most Saturdays, we are on our feet all day executing a flawless wedding day! No matter what it is, it keeps me on my toes and excited about another day at work!

What project, event or moment are you most proud of?

2015 marks our 13th year in business which is something I am incredibly proud of. Our firm has hundreds of past happy clients and I have made many great friends along the way. Professionally, I am most proud of is being named Portland’s “Best Wedding Planner” and “Best All-Around Wedding Vendor” for the fourth consecutive year. These awards are voted on by brides and other wedding professionals; being named the best by your peers and past clients makes the honor that much more exciting and rewarding.

What makes your work and/or your business unique?

My experienced staff is known for positive energy, incredible attention-to-detail and planning deeply personal and seamless events. Bridal Bliss has a team approach and each planner prides themselves on going above and beyond for every client. We love weddings and it shows as Bridal Bliss is Portland’s most “decorated” planning firm!

Such a cute idea to have mini wedding cakes made instead of serving slices.

Name one of your favorite vendor sources that you couldn’t do without.

It is so hard to choose just one preferred vendor! That being said, the gals at Zest Floral are one of my favorites. In addition to being incredibly creative, they do such a wonderful job at personalizing events, paying attention to the tiniest of details and ensuring the design process is fun. I adore them and appreciate how attentive they are to Bridal Bliss clients.

Where do you find inspiration?

I find inspiration everywhere! From wedding blogs to design magazines to a hike in Washington Park or a brunch at Cafe Nell. My eyes are always open for new, unique color combinations and design elements!

A fun wedding with a four tiered red and white cake and confetti.

Describe your ideal client.

After working with such diverse clients over the years I have found it hard to have an ideal client. But one element I always love is a couple that thinks outside the box. When clients bring up unique ideas at our initial consultation, I know it is going to be a fun wedding and planning process.

Thank you, Nora, for sharing with us today! You’re truly an inspiration!
