Looking for an internship at a cool and creative company? You’re in luck! Something Borrowed Portland Vintage Rentals is now accepting resumes for a part-time unpaid intern. Are you incredibly awesome, extraordinarily creative and highly organized? Have an interest in event planning, styling and design? We encourage you to apply!
Responsibilities Include but are not Limited To:
- Design inspiration boards based on client proposals.
- Assist with the creation of client proposals.
- Assist with event set up, styling and breakdown of photo shoots and real events using our vintage rental collection. Includes inventory prep for events such as pulling, packing and processing orders.
- Independently create vignettes specifically for blog features and photos.
- Weekly marketing activities including blogging on the Something Borrowed Portland blog, as well as social media outlets such as Facebook and Pinterest.
Our Ideal Candidate Is:
- Super fun, outgoing, impeccably organized with an acute attention to detail.
- A proactive self-starter and able to work independently without constant direct supervision.
- Interested in pursuing a career in the wedding, event, or hospitality industry.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel and social media (Photoshop a plus).
- Creative with a love for all things vintage, antique and rustic.
- Able to work weekends.
- Able to occasionally lift 50 pounds such as furniture pieces and dish ware.
All candidates must have their own laptop and a valid driver’s license with auto insurance. This unpaid internship is a minimum of 15 hours per week for 10-15 weeks.
