A Little Bit About Beth
Beth was raised a Pacific Northwest gal from the beginning having grown up in Vancouver, Washington. She has been a dancer her entire life and currently teaches hip hop and jazz. Beth attended the University of Cincinnati last year and was on their nationally ranked dance team as well as competed for the United States on Team USA Dance (how’s that for ambition and drive?!). She was majoring in secondary math education but soon realized her heart was in another place. Beth transferred schools to University of Portland with the goal of obtaining a B.S. in Organizational Communications with plans to become an event planner. Aside from dance, Beth enjoys traveling, food and hanging out with friends and family. We asked Beth a few questions to get to know her better:
- What are you most looking forward to working with Something Borrowed Portland? The thing that I am looking forward to most about my time at Something Borrowed is getting a complete look into the wedding industry as well as getting hands on experience in designing and planning.
- Describe yourself in three words: Dedicated, organized, creative.
- Tell us something special and unique about you: This past year I represented the United States at the International World Dance Championship on Team USA Dance and won the World Championship in the pom division.
If you happen to stop by our studio, be sure to say hello to Beth!
