Oh how we are so super excited to be able to share this Mists of Avalon wedding inspiration shoot with you! If you saw the video yesterday, you’ll have had a taste of all the beauty featured in today’s post. It was a long time in the making, with countless hours preparing and dodging the rainy Pacific Northwest weather. From the beautiful, natural setting at Bridal Veil Lakes to the medieval inspired details, we hope you enjoy browsing these photo’s as much as we do. From the photographer, Sarah with Hazelwood Photo:
“We blended muted medieval elements with a romantic zeal for the natural world to create an enchanting playground for the modern bohemian bride. Lavender sprigs garnished the signature cocktails, gemstones served as guests favors atop our escort cards, while blackberries and artichokes figured into the floral arrangements. Table settings not only included amethysts, but also crystallized violets resting in delicate Pacific oyster shells. Continuing our theme, the dessert table featured purple rock candy wands, a gorgeous three-tiered ombre cake, and candy crystal covered cupcakes. Our “maids of the forest” embodied our motif via hair, wardrobe and jewelry choices (just look at that abalone crown!).”
We personally thank everyone who helped bring a vision to light as this truly was a team effort! When you’re done here, visit the full feature via Green Wedding Shoes.
