We had the distinct pleasure back in May to participate in a styled inspiration shoot with Jon Duenas. Jon and I first met during a Wedding Chicks meetup here in Portland. I had just stumbled across an amazing feature by Jon on the Wedding Chicks blog and instantly fell in love with his unique style of shooting and amazing photography. It was during this meeting that we started discussing a styled inspiration shoot. I had also just met Stephanie Major of PETALOS who came on board as both stylist and florist. Joining forces for the shoot included three amazing dress designers: Holly Stalder, Claire La Faye, and Kate Towers. Makeup artist Kirstie Wight teamed up with hair stylist Terri Reece to complete the look. Last but not least, was the beautiful location on a Christmas tree farm in St. Helens, Oregon. Jon had photographed a wedding at the location last year, and the family was generous enough to welcome us back for this shoot. With the shoot delayed a bit due to typical Oregon weather, we got started amidst the cold and sprinkles. Our models Meredith, Jennifer and Sharon did an amazing job bringing our vintage rentals to life. They braved cold weather and random rain with sunshine breaks to make this styled inspiration shoot unforgettable! We are so thankful to have worked with such amazing talent, it leaves us speechless! When you’re done here, visit the full feature via the Wedding Chicks.
