No longer for summer camping or backyard BBQ’s, lawn games can easily be a part of your wedding.  Incorporating lawn games into your big day is a great way to help your guests relax, get to know each other and pass the time while you have your pictures taken. When planning on what type of games to offer, it all depends on your personal favorites and the space you have. Here we share five of our summertime favorite lawn games, many of which you’ll find in our own inventory.

1. Croquet

Croquet is super easy to play with a set that includes mallots, colored balls and wickets.

2. Cornhole

To some it’s called a bean-bag toss, to others in the Midwest cornhole.  Whatever you decide to call it, a bean bag toss is super easy to play and you can even have the raised platform personalized with your silhouette, initials or wedding colors.

3. Bocce Ball

I have very fond memories of bocce ball as once a week my grandfather would head to the senior center and play amongst his friends.  He must have played for 20 years, following his routine every single week.

4. Badminton

Oh the fun we would have playing badminton in the back yard on a hot summer day! A net is optional as it’s just as fun playing without.

5. Horseshoes

Another camping favorite is horseshoes.  I don’t know why I would get the simple pleasure out of yelling “ringer!”, maybe it was because it didn’t happen often!
