Conceptualized by event designer Mona of Birds & Honey
, this photoshoot featured a beautiful watercolor wedding theme outdoors at picturesque Sauvie Island in Portland, OR.
The color palette of whites, ivories, hints of blue and burgundy, and with greenery throughout created a fresh, nature-inspired feel.
The simple tablescape on custom wood table, with mismatched glassware and chairs provided by Something Borrowed Portland Vintage Rentals, evoked romance and whimsy.
In Mona’s words “For the overall feel of this editorial my motto was “embrace simplicity.” Time and time again, the most transparent vision is often times the most simple.”
The invitation stationery played up the vibrant colors from the flowers and tied the watercolor wedding theme together with lovely calligraphy and hand-made paper design.
